PAINTINGS

I use quite a lot of upcycled canvases for my paintings and enjoy experimenting with different styles.  So these are most recent forays into the art world!  They all have copyright so sorry not available for copying.

BUNNIES

These adorable little bunnies are made of hessian and vintage cloth.  They're fiddly to make but just look so cute.

BARK TREES

I saw this idea on Pinterest and was challenged to give them a go.  They are made of real bark from the local woodlands and held on a wooden base by a wire running through the centre of each piece of bark.  For a decorative touch I added the gold stars.  Most of these are still available.

BIRDIE BOX

This was a little Chinese box which had desperately needed renovating and as I'm very fond of birds it turned out to be a decorative bird box for storing anything you might like.  The clouds floating in the sky just added a finishing touch.
It sells for £7.50.

HAND PAINTED BAG

Having tried my hand at painting in recent months I thought I'd  see how it turned out on fabric so this little satin drawstring bag is the result.  These little bags are so useful for so many things.  I have one with a little teddy bear on it for keeping my MP3 player in.
As with all my projects if anyone is interested in buying  any item most of them are for sale or I can make one for you.

BLANKET RUG

I love to upcycle whenever possible and this project was made of a selection of  'half' scarf samples made of 100% wool which I sewed together like patchwork and made into a rug/blanket for a member of my family.  It's different on both sides as every sample is different.  Because it's made of wool it's very warm and I'm thinking I might make another one as it was so well received.

GLASS ETCHED JARS

I love trying anything new and this Christmas I did some glass etching on jars.  They were lovely with candles glowing inside.  If anyone is interested let me know.  They can be etched with most designs.

This little one is so useful as a ring dish or for holding pot pourri.

FOOTSTOOL

This is an old footstool which I've renovated with chalk paint and a beautiful heavy brocade fabric.  It can either be used as a footstool or I thought it would be lovely used as a display maybe to put a teddy or doll on.  What do you think?
It is for sale for £20 if anyone is interested.

BABY ELEPHANTS

I was racking my brains trying to think what to make for my friends' new babies when elephants sprang to mind so here are my new creations.  They will be trumpeting their way down south this week to their new homes.

DANCING LADIES

For those who love 'frilly frocks' these dancing ladies fit the bill.

BIRDIE CUSHIONS

These are two of my latest  'birdie' cushions.  They make me smile. :)
