PEBBLE  PICTURES

Pebble pictures are fun to do and if you can imagine it you can pretty much
produce it in pebbles!
It's not as easy as it looks though and takes quite a few trial and errors!
Simplicity seems to be the key and I was so encouraged with the end results,
I thought I'd share them with you.

If anyone is interested they sell from £12-£25.
They come in a box frame, either white or pale wood effect as shown.

HONEYBEE  BEAR

As you may remember I write my own poems and some time ago I wrote HoneyBee Bear which I usually sell with a lovely bear to go with it.
Then I had a light bulb moment and thought why not put it in a box frame along with a little, real suede, single dimension teddy bear and, tah da, here it is!

Just a gentle reminder, please don't copy my poems as they are copyright
and it's how I make my living :)  Thanks very much.
If you should like to buy one like it or with any of my other poems just let me know.

PAPER  CHRISTMAS  TREES

Making paper Christmas Trees is such fun.  They're a bit tricky but just very cute, especially in a cluster.  With music script or handwriting paper, they both look so pretty.

You can find out how to make them on Utube if you like.
Type in 'How to make a Christmas Tree from Paper' and it should pop up.
Why not have a go and pretty up your Christmas Table too?

CHRISTMAS  FIR  CONES

With Christmas round the corner I wanted to make some fir cone decorations with new hessian ribbon I'd ordered especially for this very moment several months ago.  I like to be prepared!

Now,  I thought, let's go for a walk to find the fir cones, but who new they would be so hard to find at this time of year?  I just assumed fir cones - autumn - great!  Not so, it seems they are like gold dust round here unless someone knows where they are???

So what now?  Hurrah I found a box of cones I'd collected earlier in the year in Devon, really big ones, and thought ahah!   Treasure!       The result?....see what you think.

Next time I see cones I'll know to pick up loads ready for next Christmas!!

Birdies in jars

Time has flown by and have been encouraged today to write another post.

I love all the shabby chic, vintage interest there is at the moment so decided to make a vintage jar with decoupage, lace and music paper.  Great for storing all sorts of things it is still for sale.

Earlier in the year I made a different kind of decoration with little clay birds and mini bunting

Sorry the photos as not brilliant but I have a lot of fun making this one and it has now gone to a new home.  Hope the little birdies are happy!
